     The following selected information is extracted from the obituary of Otto Paul Berger.
     Otto Paul Berger was buried on 26 April 1957 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.1
     His name was recorded as John Otto Berger on his birth registration.3
     Otto Berger appeared on the 1901 Canadian Census of Renfrew County, Ontario in the household of his parents, Gottlieb and Emielie Berger.2
     In 1908,Otto moved from Ontario to Delisle district, RM of Loganton, Saskatchewan, Canada. He remained there for the rest of his life.1 He, the informant on the death registration of August Frederick Wilhelm Berger who died on 20 March 1912 was an unrelated person.5
     Otto Berger and family attended the Rosenthal School Pals Reunion.
On Dominion Day (July 1) in 1931, August and Minnie Summach hosted a reunion of local families in which at least one of the parents had attended Rosenthal school in Renfrew County, Ontario. A photographer from Saskatoon took a panoramic photograph of about 14 families and other guests.6,7

     He was born on 17 March 1888 at Rosenthal, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada.1,5,2,3 A delayed birth registration for John Berger was made on 6 November 1943 at Eganville in Renfrew County, certified by his brother, William Berger. Additional evidence was from the Family Record, and Marriage record. Note that the year 1878 does not agree with other sources.6
     John Berger died on 15 December 1965, in a local hospital, at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, at age 77.2
     The following selected information is extracted from the obituary of John Berger.
     John Berger was buried on 18 December 1965 at Delisle Cemetery, Delisle, RM of Vanscoy No. 345, Saskatchewan, Canada. The pallbearers were: Ray Summach, Leonard Rutledge, Ivan Smith, Wilfred Summach, George Gessell and Cecil Summach.7
     He was commonly known as Jack.4,5
