He listed his next-of-kin/contact person as his father, Frederick S. Coe. He was described as 5' 10 1/2" and 160 lbs, with brown eyes, brown hair and a sallow complexion. It was noted that he had had an appendix operation and had a scar on his neck.1
     John and Lucille Coe appeared on the 1950 U.S. Federal Census of Oyster Bay, Nassau County, New York, enumerated 11 April 1950, described as an areonautical engineer for an aircraft compnay.10
     In the obituary of Frederick S. Coe who died 5 September 1965, his son, John M. Coe, of Hicksville, Long Island, was listed as a survivor.3
