This may be the correct record for Elizabeth Johnson, bride of Will Phillips, who later married Frank Dure.¹³ She and Emma Shewring were included on a passenger manifest for the "Royal George" of the Royal Line dated 15 July 1914 departing from the Port of Bristol, England, bound for Quebec. They both were travelling 3rd class. I presume they were trveling together, but have not yet (Mar 2024) established their exact relationship. They may have been sisters since Lizzie was an aunt of Emma's daughter, Kate.¹⁴ Elizabeth Dure and Emma Shewring were included on a passenger manifest for the "Royal George" of the Royal Line dated 25 July 1914 arriving at Port of Québec, Québec, Canada, ultimately bound for Moose Jaw by C.N.R.. Note that Lizzie is reported to be 10 years yunger than when she departed England.¹⁵
