...Near the middle of the west line of section 8 the cyclone met its next obstruction. Here stood the comfortable farm house and buildings of Clarence F. Emery, for many years the home of his father, the late Joseph W. Emery. The house and barn were literally blown to atoms, and the scene beggars description....
