Madison, Mo., Jan. 3
Robert Maxey, 52 years old, died at his home here yesterday afternoon after an illness of two years.

He is survived by his widow, the former Miss Bettie Short; one son, Denzil; two daughters, Mrs. Gale Holohan and Mrs. Woodrow Wilson; two granddaughters, Wanda Jean and Dori Maxey, and one grandson, Bobbie Holohan, all of Madison.

Four brothers, Jeff ad Len H. Maxey of Madison, Ray and Chester Maxey of Moberly, and two sisters, Mrs. Art Farris and Mrs. Herman Karnes of Madison, also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock at the Thompson Funeral Home at Madison, conducted by the Rev. O. P. McKenzie, Baptist minister.4

Jimmy Dee Holohan 81,
     Passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Romaine and Charles “Gail”, Brother Charles Robert “Bob”, son Bryan and other family members who are sorely missed. He was born September 22, 1937. He graduated from Madison High School where he played basketball. He moved to Jefferson City to pursue a career in state government where he retired as Chief Auditor and Investigator of the Missouri Ethics Commission and Campaign Finance Review Board. He is the Father of four wonderful children, Rhonda Hudson husband Randy of Higbee, Roland Holohan of Madison and wife Nancy, Bryan Holohan (decd.), and Carrie Holohan of Holts Summit. He has nine Grand Children, seven great grand children and one great-great grandchild, and a large extended family, all of whom he loved very much. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, vacationing, and being with family and friends. His wife Beverly Ann survives at the home. There will be a grave side service at 6:00pm at the Christian Cemetery in Madison with Celebration of Life to follow. Friends and family welcome. More to be added.1
