     Gardner (sic) B. and Ann F. Moment appeared on the 1940 U.S. Federal Census of Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland, enumerated 5 April 1940, described as a teacher at college.9
     Gairdner Bostwick Moment, of Baltimore, Maryland, registered for the draft on 16 October 1942 at Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland, USA, at the age of 37. He was an employee of Goucher College in Baltimore. He listed his next-of-kin/contact person as his wife, Mrs. Gairdner Bostwick Moment. He was described as 6' and 140 lbs, with hazel eyes, brown hair and a light compelxion.2
     In the obituary of Alfred G. Moment who died 4 May 1947, his son, Dr. Gairdner B. Moment was listed as a survivor.16 He and Ann Reed Faben were included on a passenger manifest for the ship "Queen of Bermuda" dated 3 September 1954 arriving at New York, New York, USA, from Bermusda accompanied by their children Jim. They were travelling first class.17
