     She was born on 18 October 1855 at Germany 1901 census. Her Ontario Death Registration gives her age as 70 years, 10 months, 18 days which calculates back to 15 Oct 1855.^3,1,2,4 Emilie married Carl Frederick William Runtz before 1874.^3,4,5
     Emilie Matilda Scheel died on 8 September 1926 at McNab Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada, at age 70 according to Ontario Death Registration 029495.^3,6 The informant on her death registration was her husband, Carl Frederick William Runtz.¹

     August and Minnie Kuehl appeared on the 1921 Canadian Census of Killaloe Station, Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 1 June 1921. August was described as a teamster. Their children Henry, Violet and Amanda were listed as living with them. Note that this appears to be a blended family. Two of the children (Henry & Violet) were Minnie's, his step-children, and Amanda appears to have been his daughter.¹⁰

Minnie Kuehl and August Kuehl appeared on the 1931 Canadian Census of Killaloe Station, Hagarty Twp., Renfrew County, Ontario, enumerated 1 June 1931, described as a labourer on a farm. Their daughter Violet was listed as living with them. The household also contained a "niece", Shirley Kuehl.¹²
