     William and Sarah Vamplew appeared on the 1911 Canadian Census of Euphrasia Twp., Grey County, Ontario, enumerated 5 June 1911. William was described as a Methodist and a Farmer. Their children Emma, Victoria D, Elmer, Earl and Jannet S were listed as living with them.³

     She was born circa 12 June 1867 at Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada.^2,5,3,4 Eliza married Samuel Nelson Armstrong before 1893, estimate. I cannot locate an Ontario marriage registration.^6,7
     Eliza Vamplew died on 12 December 1893 at Ontario, Canada.² The cause of her death was possibly complications of child birth. Her son died at the age of 34 days so she died about 10 days after his birth.²
     Eliza Vamplew was buried at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery, Thornbury, Collingwood Twp., Grey County, Ontario, Canada.²
     She was commonly known as Liza.¹
