     Ethel was born on 13 July 1895 in Darlington Twp., Durham County, Ontario, CanadaG, her obituary claims she was born in Bowmanville.3,6,5 Alternatively, she was born in 1896.4 Ethel married Hans Paul Deubelbeiss on 20 May 1915 in Oshawa, East Whitby Twp., Ontario County, Ontario, CanadaG.2 Ethel May Trimm and Hans Paul Deubelbeiss were divorced on 27 May 1935 in Toronto, Ontario, CanadaG. News article references his daughter as Miss Helen Trimm so I presume her parents had divorced prior to this time.7,8 She died on 16 January 1966 in Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville, Clarke Twp., Durham County, Ontario, CanadaG, at age 70.4,9,10

     Her name was recorded as Ethel May Tremere on her birth registration.6
     In the obituary of Sarah Maria Trimm who died 5 March 1943, Sarah's sister, Mrs Robert Bailey was listed as a survivor.11
     In the obituary of Elias Samuel Trimm who died 9 February 1945, Elias's daughter, Ethel Bailey was listed as a survivor.12
     The following obituary appeared in the newspaper the Canadian Statesman published in Bowmanville, Ontario 2 February 1966 :
The death of Mrs. Robert Bailey, 5 Flett St., occurred on Sunday, January 16, 1966, at Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville. She was in her 71st year and, although in poor health for two or three years, her death was very sudden.

Daughter of the late Mr., and Mrs. Elias S. Trimm (Sarah M. Moffat), the former Ethel Mae Trimm was born in Bowmanville and received her education in Newcastle. Twice married, she is survived by her second husband, Mr. Robert Baiely. The first marriage was blessed by two children.

Mr. and Mrs. Bailey resided in Windsor for many years, and on his retirement ten years ago moved to Bowmanville.

The deceased was an adherent of Trinity United Church Bowmanville, and her chief interests centred around her home and family.

Surviving besides her husband are two children, a daughter, Mrs. David Park (Helen) of Bowmanville, and a son, Mr. Jack Trimm of Windsor. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Thomas and Kenneth Park, Oshawa, and Glenna Park, Bowmanville; and one great-grandchild, Catherine Park, Oshawa.

The funeral service was held from the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville, on Wednesday, January 19, and was conducted by Rev. George K. Ward. B.A., B.D. Interment was in Bowmanville Cemetery

Among the lovely floral tributes, evidence of the esteem in which the deceaased was held, were those from Memorial Park Association and Strathaven Nursing Home.

Pallbearers were Messrs. R. Knox, Arthur Coverly, Colin Taylor, Walter Park, Percy Leach and Archie Thompson.
